Q:So off season is ahead... whats your take on the first move the knicks should make towards building there roster...?
sorry for the late reply here man, first thing is already being done - cleaning house with the coaching staff and any executives tied to a losing culture.
Phil has been given the power to do what he wants, and he’s starting by getting rid of Woody and the entire coaching staff.
I’m happy this was done (I mean, never want to see people lose their jobs), but in order to start anew - need to clean out everything.
Next step would be to find the right coaching staff to replace - most likely Steve Kerr is going to get the job.
After that - sit down with Melo and try to re-sign him for less than max money (which he said he is willing to do).
no surprises here, Knicks need to clean house. Been written about for a bit now, but Steve Kerr seems to be the leading candidate to replace.
I love Herb, but he’s got to also… been on that assistant bench way too long
two things become official tonight
1. the Knicks signed Odom to a two year deal. this way they can evaluate him in offseason. if he can’t get back to old form, then he’ll be cut
2. ESPN is officially dealing with some black magic… accurately predicting the exact amount of wins the Knicks would have this season. unfortunately they thought 37 wins was enough for the 7th seed.
Game: 82nd of Season, 4th of 4 Against Raptors (Series 1-2)
LASSSTTT game of the season
need one more win to prove ESPN exactly right on how many wins we’d have this season
would be nice to end the season with a W
Shumpert - man… was he impressive against the Nets -looks like the guys were just having fun out there
Prediction: Knicks 105, Raptors 91
Prediction Record: 42-39
not 100% Knicks related but interesting to see what the average player makes for every professional team around the globe.
the Knicks rank 12th!
number one is Man City (EPL)
Lots of Shump
