Knicks vs. HEAT (Game 1): Nov. 2nd 8:00 PM EST - ESPN
New York Knicks: 0-0
Miami HEAT: 1-0
Head-to-Head: First Meeting
Pretty excited.
Knicks home-opener and season-opener rolled into one AND against the team that knocked us out of the playoffs last year.
You know the Knicks will be pumped up for this, the opposition? I guess not so much based on what D Wade had to say. He does have a point, but it’s not going to stop the game from happening.
What I’ll be Watching
- The offense - apparently Coach Woody had the team working on plays specifically designed for matching up against the HEAT the other day in practice. He didn’t allow media there to take any pictures. What does Woody have in store? Hopefully it’s something to get Novak an open look because we all remember what happened in the playoffs.
- Point Guard play - will be interesting to see how our point guard handle the pressure they’ll face from Miami’s ridiculous defense. Also, how many minutes is Pablo going to get?
- Rasheed Wallace & Marcus Camby - what are they going to give us?
- LeBron James - still bothers me that he didn’t choose the Knicks. Sorry, I’m never going to get over this. I watch him out of envy and what could have been.
The game is on ESPN tonight so out-of-town Knicks fans will get to enjoy watching their team.
Betting Line: Miami by 6.0 (O/U 198.0)
My Prediction: Miami 104, Knicks 96
Prediction Record: 0-0
