Q:exactly what is: Betting Line: Spurs by 5.0 (O/U 194.0) ?

It’s for the gambler’s out there. The odd-makers have the Spurs favored over the Knicks by 5 points. If you bet the line and pick the Knicks, then you can win two ways. One, if the Knicks win. Two, if the Spurs beat the Knicks by less than 5 points. The only way you lose is if the Spurs beat the Knicks by more than 5 points. It’s just a way to even the odds to make betting more interesting. 

O/U is just another form of betting. It’s short for Over/Under. The 194.0 is the total score. You can bet the over, which is you think both team’s combined score will be more than 194 points. Or, you can bet the under, which is you think both team’s combined score will be under 194 points. 

Hope I’m not converting anyone into gamblers! haha, it’s a bad habit.

I’m just putting it there to give an idea of who the betting community is favoring.
