Knicks vs. Pacers (Game 8): Nov. 18th 12:00 PM EST

New York Knicks: 6-1 (3-0 at home)
Indiana Pacers: 4-6 (1-5 on the road)
Head-to-Head: First Meeting

TV: MSG

Simply put, the Knicks need to come out and make a statement.

New York needs to let out some aggression after that frustrating loss in Memphis. Day game against Indiana might be a little troublesome, but I don’t see us losing.

Three to See:

  • David West vs. Carmelo Anthony - West is a lot smaller than Gasol, but just as tough. It will be interesting to see how Melo holds up playing against bigger guys at the 4 position. I’m sure Melo isn’t happy about doing this, but until Amar’e comes back… this is his role. Indiana is a big team like Memphis with Hibbert at center also. Tyson is going to have his hands full too.
  • Three-point shooting - Went flat in Memphis. Law of averages said it had to come down to earth at some point. Let’s see what it looks like today.
  • Sub 90 - Indiana is only scoring 89 points a game. The Knicks should be able to get back on track after giving up 100+ points in the last two game.

A key to this season will be avoiding losing streaks. One loss here and there is fine and expected, but the Knicks need to avoid getting into ruts.

Betting Line: Knicks by 7.5 (O/U 187.0)
My Prediction: Knicks 99, Pacers 87
Prediction Record: 6-1
