Knicks @ Hornets (Game 9): Nov. 20th 8:00 PM EST
New York Knicks: 7-1 (3-1 on the road)
New Orleans Hornets: 3-5 (2-3 at home)
Head-to-Head: First Meeting
TV: MSG
The Knicks get their first look at The Brow tonight when they take on the Hornets in New Orleans.
It’s going to be another tough PF battle for Carmelo Anthony as he’s most likely going to be matching up with Davis on the defensive end.
Should be a fun one.
What 2 Watch:
- The Rooks - Looking forward to seeing Austin Rivers and Anthony Davis play. The key will be keeping Davis off the boards and Rivers our of the lanes. There is a little mentor/mentee thing going on with Davis and Melo with the Olympics and all.
- Fouls/Turnovers - Firm believer that the key to the Knicks early success has been limiting fouls (interesting their one loss was a game where fouls got out of hand) and turnovers. Low fouls means we’re playing defense with our feet and not hands (OR not playing defense at all hahah, but we know that’s not true). Low turnovers means we’re taking care of the basketball. I want to see if this trend continues.
Nice to get another winning streak going.
