Without Kidd, Knicks Unravel Late Against Nets - Atlantic All Tied Up
Final Score: Nets 96, Knicks 89
Record: 9-4 (Tied for 1st in Atlantic)
Current Streak: Lost 1
That one hurt a bit.
Felt like a playoff game. If this is any indication for future games, we’re in for a pretty entertaining series.
Without Kidd in the lineup, the Knicks struggled to executing their offense late in the game.
Ray Felton basically shot us out of the game and we missed some big free throws (mainly by Carmelo).
What 2 Watch:
- The crowd was awesome - really made it seem like a playoff game.
- Tyson Chandler had his best game of the season and his career (in points). Was pretty pissed off every time Felton chucked up a shot and didn’t hit Chandler on the cut.
Jerry Stackhouse killed us with his corner threes.
Ronnie Brewer dislocated his finger late in the fourth, should be listed as day-to-day.
Great win by the Nets. Can’t wait for the next one.
Hope people still don’t doubt that this is a rivalry.
KNOTEWORTHY KNICK OF THE GAME: Carmelo had a great game, but sort of disappeared at the end of the game… so I’m giving it to Tyson - 28 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assists, 2 steals.

The split of cheers in Barclays was awesome, can’t wait to see more games between these two. Missed free throws hurt alot.
