BALL DON’T LIE! - Knicks Burn Suns
Final Score: Knicks 106, Suns 99
Record: 12-4 (1st in Atlantic, 2nd in Eastern Conference)
Current Streak: Won 3
The Knicks were up big throughout the whole game, but somehow the Suns made it interesting in the end climbing all the way back and cutting a 20 points lead down to about six. They just didn’t give up and it seemed like the Knicks were expecting them to.
Felton came through in the clutch, knocking down some big shots to save us from an embarrassing collapse.
The Knicks only committed seven turnovers for the entire game (only 2 in the second half). Good things happen when you take care of the ball.
Pablo didn’t have a great game this afternoon. He committed nearly half of the Knicks turnovers today (3). Crazy, other than Pablo, the only other Knick to commit a turnover was Melo (4).
How about Rasheed Wallace making his unofficial/official return to the NBA by getting ejected from the game? BALL DON’T LIE! I reblogged the video of it earlier in case you’re interested.
Kind of crappy the league is basically having a no-tolerance policy with the “ball don’t lie” line from Sheed. Weak.
Chris Copeland played some good minutes in Sheed’s absence even throwing down a big put back dunk.
New York is still perfect at home (7-0).
KNOTEWORHTY KNICK OF THE GAME: Although Carmelo had another incredible game (his consistency has been amazing), I’m going to give it to Felton who’s late game buckets help lock down this win - 23 points, 7 assists, 3 rebounds
