Q:Hey! Do you think that these Knicks resemble the Spurs in any way with this ball movement? The spacing has been incredible and with everybody trusting each other, they should be making noise like Pop does every year.
You know what, J Kidd and Tyson said it after the game, but this team definitely reminds you of 2011 Dallas Mavericks that won the title. We have the star (Melo vs. Dirk), the defense (Tyson/Sheed/Shump vs. Tyson/Haywood), solid point guards (Felton/Kidd vs. Barea/Kidd), the shooters and a great sixth man (Smith vs. Terry).
Can’t get too far ahead of ourselves, since it’s still very early in the season, but … the Knicks put the league on notice last night.
