Knicks @ Bulls (Game 19): Dec. 8th, 8:00 PM EST
New York Knicks: 14-4 (7-4 on the road)
Chicago Bulls: 10-8 (5-5 at home)
Head-to-Head: First Meeting
TV: MSG
A couple of home comings here.
Iman Shumpert returning to his roots. I’m sure he took a couple of Knicks out last night and showed them around. He and every Knick fan probably wishes he could play in this game.
Ronnie Brewer, playing against his former team.
It’s game 3 of a very successful and exciting road trip so far.
Last game’s of a road trip are always tough because of exhaustion. I’m sure it tough being on the road for an extended period of time and just before you head back… you have one more game.
But, the point of Woody’s conditioning camp was to get the team prepared for these types of games.
The Bulls are playing how you would expect them to play without their star player: just above .500 ball.
Key Matchup: Tyson Chandler vs. Joakim Noah - Noah is coming off a MONSTER game the other night against the Pistons putting up 30 points and 23 rebounds. But, that was against the Pistons. Going against Tyson and the Knicks defense is a little different.
What 2 Watch:
- Conditioning - let’s see if the extra suicides payed off during training camp. Will the Knicks have the legs to win this one?
- Felton - Melo’s status for tonight is still up on the air. If he is out, Felton is going to need to step up the scoring load again.
Knicks vs. Bulls used to mean something so much different back when I was growing up. It’s just odd to not see it be a “marquee matchup” anymore.
Betting Line: Knicks by 2.5 (O/U 189.0)
Prediction: Bulls 98, Knicks 94
Prediction Record: 13-5
