The Battle of the Boroughs resumes tonight with Act III.
Really, this all comes down to if Melo is playing or not.
If he does, then the Knicks should win.
If he doesn’t? Well… I don’t think we have enough (especially with Rasheed being out and Novak out with the flu).
Key Matchup: Deron vs. Felton - I’m giving Felton another chance to come up in a big game. I’ve lost a lot of hope in him, but we’ll see… By the way, how can Deron say what he did about his coach and “system” and the only headline Nets beat writers come up with is “Deron takes subtle shot at Avery.” Really? That’s it? If that was someone on the Knicks/Lakers/Heat, we wouldn’t hear the end of it.
What 2 Watch:
- Garden Crowd - it was basically a 60/40 split in BK, should be a 95/5 split in the Garden. Should be fun to hear.
- Brook Lopez… he’s been playing pretty damn well of late. Tyson has his hands full.
What’s working for us is that the Nets lost a close one last night against the Jazz. Hopefully they are running on tired legs.
Sit back and enjoy the show.
Betting Line: Knicks by 6 (O/U 192.5)
Prediction: If Melo is in, we win. If not, we lose.
Prediction Record: 17-7
