Knicks @ Kings (Game 30): Dec. 28th, 10:00 PM EST
New York Knicks: 21-8 (9-6 on the road)
Sacramento Kings: 9-19 (8-7 at home)
Head-to-Head: First Meeting
TV: MSG
The always difficult last game of the road trip. No matter who the opponent is, these games are never easy.
The Kings aren’t a very good team. They give up a lot of points (fourth worst) and more than half of the teams in the league score more points than them per game.
But, the Knicks have been traveling for a bit now and they will be tired.
Carmelo is out a second straight game. Feeling a little worried about this.
Ray will be out for awhile with the broken pinkie (4-6 weeks). And now there are rumors starting to come up that Rasheed may retire because of his foot injury? It’s only a rumor, but still… scary.
Key Matchup: If he plays, Cousins vs. Tyson - Cousins is a knuckle head that should be on a team with a coach that can connect with him (like Woody and JR). At this rate, Cousins won’t be in the NBA for much longer. That said, he’s still pretty damn talented.
Over/Under Game:
- Minutes played by Cousins: 1
- Points scored by Knicks: 102
- Points scored by Kings: 95
- Turnovers by Knicks: 10
- Three pointers made by Knicks: 10
I think the Knicks will have enough in the tank to beat this team, especially if Cousins is limited.
Betting Line: Knicks by 4 (O/U 199.0)
Prediction: Knicks 104, Kings 94
Prediction Record: 21-8
