Knicks @ Raptors (Game 52): Feb. 22nd, 7:00PM EST
New York Knicks: 32-19 (13-11 on road)
Toronto Raptors: 22-33 (14-14 at home)
Head-to-Head: Raptors Lead 1-0 (of 4 Games)
The Knicks just played Toronto last week before the all-star break. Rudy Gay was held in check, but Alan Anderson had one of the best game of his young career.
Who are you Alan Anderson…. stop it.
Since the Gay trade, the Raptors have been playing pretty well. I think they won 5 out of their last 6 games.
Glen Grunwald (GM of the Knicks) went on radio and stated that teams have figured out the Knicks offense. If you’ve been watching Knick game recently… we don’t have much of an offense anymore. It’s a pick and roll or ISO Melo… that’s it. So, it’s not too surprising that opposing teams have figured this out.
The deadline has passed, so maybe the Knicks are a little more at ease knowing that no one else on the team is going anywhere (sorry Brew).
I don’t believe Kenyon will be available tonight.
Key to a Win: Stopping two of these three guys: Gay, DeRozan, Anderson. Also, not worrying so much about the officiating. Just play guys.
Over/Under Game: New rules, taking out the “push”… so guess over or under only. Five out of five gets a shout out on the post game write-up. Good luck!
- Melo Points: 24.5
- DeRozan and Gay Combined Points: 38.5

Knicks need to win to quiet the rumblings.

Prediction: Raptors 95, Knicks 91 (going the other way, since I’ve been pretty wrong recently)
